Job Role:

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing market intelligence and competitor knowledge to drive marketing strategies.
  • This involves studying market trends and analyzing agency reports to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • The selected candidate will also collate feedback from sales teams and generate actionable insights.
  • Maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders is crucial to stay updated on market changes and competitor strategies.
  • Research and analysis of the value chain will also be essential in this role.
  • Attending industry seminars and conferences will provide opportunities for networking and staying informed.
  • Providing market data to estimate annual market share forecasts is a critical aspect of this position.

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will:

  • Prepare annual brand plans and create segmentation, targeting and positioning (STP) strategies based on market realities and their expertise.
  • Plan and execute in-clinic and out-clinic activities for brands aligned with short and long-term goals.
  • Develop and implement marketing deliverables and ensure they are designed and executed as per plan.
  • Communicate brand plans and execution strategies to the sales force and provide training where needed.
  • Design and implement incentive plans and motivational drives for sales forces.
  • Monitor brand activity and on-ground execution to ensure adherence to brand plans and budgets.
  • Present execution updates to marketing heads at monthly reviews.
  • Provide ongoing customer and market insights to the product development team during product development.
  • Recommend product pricing based on market research and competitor analysis.

The ideal candidate will also:

  • Support campaign execution and provide timely feedback by coordinating with regional/district heads.
  • Provide support in case of objections or queries (refer CRM).
  • Evaluate field force motivation and effectiveness by leveraging all available platforms and data sources.
  • Manage cycle meetings, including preparation and delivery of select training modules.
  • Conduct strategic briefing meetings for sales forces.
  • Demonstrate new inputs and collate feedback, analyzing it to re-work inputs as needed.

In terms of qualifications, we are looking for candidates who have:

  • A Science Graduate degree.
  • A Management Graduate degree (mandatory).
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Product Manager in a Product Management Team (open to all segments).
  • Industry: Pharmaceuticals only.
