Key Responsibilities:

The primary goal of this role is to assist the Head of Department (HOD) in coordinating laboratory activities.

This includes ensuring timely and cost-effective testing of patient samples to aid in disease diagnosis and treatment.

Additionally, you will be responsible for providing training on proper laboratory test procedures and sample collection processes.

Technical tasks include designing methods for continuous process improvements and preparing standard operating procedures.

Achieving quality management system compliance and harmony is a top priority.

Responsibilities also include managing human resources, conducting interviews for new recruitments, and maintaining employee relations.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for product management, including conducting training sessions for technical staff.

You will also be involved in daily, weekly, and monthly review of quality control results.

Instrument maintenance, performance checks, and validation/verification acceptance are critical tasks.

Preparing monthly reports, analyzing quality control data, and making decisions on calibration, control, and acceptability are also essential responsibilities.

Managing materials and resources effectively, evaluating new instruments and technologies, and presenting departments for international audits are key aspects of this role.

Customer care involves resolving technical queries from patients, doctors, and collection centers regarding test offerings and test reports.

Productivity management of staff, staff rotation to decrease intellectual fatigue, and designing and executing quality improvement programs are additional responsibilities.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.

They must be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve quality objectives.

The selected individual should possess a proactive approach to problem-solving and be willing to take ownership of tasks and projects.

Lastly, they should be comfortable with adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
