Director of Strategic Planning & Innovation

To cater to the creative campaigns for our esteemed clients, this role requires an expert understanding to leverage social platforms as a broadcast or narrowcast medium in designing engaging experiences through insights, technologies, and expertise with a constant test and learn approach.

The candidate will work closely with the client servicing team to continuously improve the strategic thinking, direction, and recommended programs and tactics.

  • Analyze and distill insights from Category, Competition, Consumer, Culture & Brand to create unique and differentiated strategies.
  • Create an integrated strategy platform for campaigns/pitches that serves as an ideal springboard for the creative team.
  • Prepare and present compelling visual presentations with sharp perspectives and riveting narratives.
  • Translate business objectives into social/digital media objectives, enriched by proprietary benchmarks.
  • Analyze available insights and define overall strategy in terms of Distribution and Amplification, extending to competitive analysis.
  • Develop effective advertising strategies to achieve goals, taking into consideration objectives, challenges, and limitations.
  • Participate actively in new business pitches as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A postgraduate degree with around 7 years of experience in brand planning, social, and/or digital campaign management, digital creative strategy.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect business requirements to strategy solutions.
  • Research and data analytical skills with the ability to generate data-based insights to inform the strategy process. Preferably someone who can build detailed strategy case studies.
  • Passionate about the fast-evolving social/digital media environment with a strong point of view to share with clients and colleagues.
  • An eye for innovation and emerging platforms or partners to consider as part of a brand, social, digital strategy.
  • Ability to work effectively, proactively, and seamlessly while collaborating with integrated teams.
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and people management skills.
