The Staff Accountant – Tax IDT position involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial data. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting indirect tax compliance while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting of financial information.
Key Responsibilities:- Record financial transactions and maintain precise financial records
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts to guarantee accuracy and completeness
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Support indirect tax compliance and related accounting tasks
- Assist in preparing tax-related reports and reconciliations for GST and other indirect taxes
- Collaborate with senior team members on audits, compliance, and financial reviews
- E nsure deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines
