Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage quality assurance at the origin level. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for coffee to join our team and take charge of ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout the production process.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality control, cupping, and evaluating green coffee beans. They will be responsible for visiting coffee farms and curing works across Karnataka to evaluate beans before purchase, carrying out quality checks from farm collection to curing and sorting, and preparing traceability and quality reports for each lot procured.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visit coffee farms and curing works to evaluate beans before purchase
  • Carry out quality checks from farm collection to curing and sorting
  • Cup and evaluate samples to ensure consistency with export specifications
  • Prepare traceability and quality reports for each lot procured
  • Coordinate procurement activities once contracts with suppliers are finalized
  • Manage logistics from farm to curing works and up to export stage (sampling, weighment, warehousing)
  • Maintain strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, and curing units
  • Ensure compliance with Coffee Board of India and FSSAI guidelines
Requirements
  • Proven experience in coffee quality control, cupping, or farm-level operations
  • Strong knowledge of green coffee beans, grading, curing processes, and cup quality analysis
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation for traceability and compliance
  • Familiarity with export-related logistics and processes is an advantage
  • Fluency in Kannada (mandatory); basic English for reporting and supplier/buyer coordination
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Karnataka's coffee-growing regions
  • High integrity, reliability, and a genuine passion for coffee
