Join our team and take on a challenging role as a software engineer working with AI models. Your primary focus will be to develop scalable backend services using Node.js/NestJS and integrate them with LLMs through function calls. You will work closely with the development team to design, implement, and maintain high-quality APIs, data models, and security features.

About the Role

We are building a platform that leverages AI-native technology to create relationship intelligence. As a skilled Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our platform remains secure, reliable, and efficient as we grow.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and maintain backend services and APIs for core objects (contacts, companies, deals, groups).
  • Integrate large language models with structured data through function calling and other workflows.
  • Implement systems to ensure AI outputs are traceable and reliable.
  • Develop and optimize data models in Postgres/Prisma.
  • Build secure, multi-tenant features with RBAC/ABAC and audit logging.
  • Support embeddings and vector search for intelligent queries.
  • Optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in backend development.
  • Strong skills in Node.js/NestJS or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency in REST & GraphQL API design.
  • Experience with databases like Postgres and Prisma.
  • Familiarity with LLM APIs and AI/ML workflows.
  • Understanding of event-driven systems.
  • Knowledge of security best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a remote environment.
