About the Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Frontend Engineer to join our fast-growing team at a leading travel tech company. This role offers a unique chance to gain valuable experience working with cutting-edge AI-native technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other skilled engineers on the development of the user experience across Web and mobile platforms, focusing on creating a revolutionary AI-native app that transforms how users plan and book travel.
  • Design and implement interactive UI components leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and other Generative AI models to introduce a novel User Experience paradigm.

AI-Powered Feature Development:

  • Develop state-of-the-art frontend features that seamlessly integrate dozens of AI models and APIs to provide personalized travel recommendations, intricately crafted itineraries, and real-time booking options.
  • Work closely with backend developers to design UI tightly coupled with the AlphaTravel engine, creating innovative travel planning workflows.

Optimization and Scalability:

  • Focus on optimizing the app's performance to ensure smooth load times and a responsive interface across all devices.
  • Develop efficient code that works across platforms and enhances the scalability of the application.
  • Address complex challenges related to user flow and interaction design, making the travel planning process as intuitive as speaking a wish aloud.

Requirements:

  • Must-haves:
    • 2+ years of experience with React and JavaScript.
    • 1+ year experience working with Redux and other standard frontend frameworks.
    • Ability to write scalable, modular, optimized code for responsive frontend components.
  • Good to have:
    • Strong AI fundamentals. Experience building frontend for applied AI/ML solutions.
    • Experience working on cloud platforms.
