Job Overview

The role of AI Engineer is critical in driving innovation and growth within our organization.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop intelligent agents using Azure AI Foundry and Semantic Kernel to enhance business efficiency.
  2. Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) with enterprise data using Azure Cognitive Search and vector-based retrieval to provide actionable insights.
  3. Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to answer complex queries from structured/unstructured data, ensuring seamless information flow.
  4. Design and implement custom skills, plugins, and workflows using Semantic Kernel Planner and Function Calling to meet specific business needs.
  5. Establish secure connections to and query data sources like Azure SQL, Synapse, Cosmos DB, and Data Lake using APIs or SDKs, fostering a culture of data-driven decision making.
  6. Collaborate closely with frontend/backend teams to embed copilots in React or .NET-based applications, promoting cross-functional collaboration.
  7. Utilize Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Power Automate for task automation and backend orchestration, streamlining processes and enhancing productivity.
  8. Deploy and secure solutions using Azure App Services, Containers, and Azure AD authentication, ensuring robust protection and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, and Semantic Kernel is essential.
  • A good understanding of LLM-based agents, prompt engineering, and tool-use workflows is required.
  • Proficiency in Python or .NET Core for backend development is necessary.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, data transformation, and cloud pipelines is beneficial.
  • Experience with cloud integration on Azure is highly valued.
