Expert Mainframe Developer

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking highly skilled Experts to develop and maintain complex Mainframe systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain Mainframe systems, including DB2, CICS, MQ, ZOS, Control-M, MF, RACF, COBOL, Linux One, PCM, and Networking technologies.
  • Develop high-quality software applications using COBOL, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to Mainframe systems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement comprehensive Mainframe solutions, leveraging expertise in multiple technologies.
  • Provide code reviews and quality assurance for COBOL applications, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Maintain and improve existing Mainframe processes and procedures, optimizing workflows and reducing operational costs.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Mainframe technology, with a strong understanding of system architecture and integration.
  • Proficiency in DB2, CICS, MQ, ZOS, Control-M, MF, RACF, COBOL, Linux One, PCM, and Networking technologies, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and trends.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
