This role entails responsibility for book keeping in ERP, manual journal entries and bank reconciliations. Additionally, the position involves performing month close processes including reconciliations. This also includes tax compliances and filing periodic tax returns (e.g. GST and TDS returns) for India location. Furthermore, support is required for entity controller for statutory audit for the entity and consolidated financials for the group at various levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform monthly closing process, ensuring timely completion of reconciliations
- Ensure accurate and complete book keeping, including journal entries and bank reconciliations
- Support entity controller with preparation of statutory audit and consolidated financial statements for the group
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and objectives
- Hold a degree in accounting or related field with 1-4 years post qualification work experience in IGAAP/ Ind AS or CA (Inter)/ICAEW (Inter) with 3-6 years work experience from big 4 or MNC or medium to large corporate working experience in financial reporting
- Excellent knowledge of GST and TDS is essential
- Develop strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Display a positive attitude, ability to take initiative and contribute to projects
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a global team
- Motivated individual, willing to take ownership and prepared to excel in an intense, high-pressure work environment
- Well-versed in ERP systems and MS Excel
