Job Overview:

This senior legal position is responsible for leading the management and protection of digital technologies, AI-GenAI innovations, data assets, IP asset management, strategy, and advisory across multiple teams.

The ideal candidate will provide subject matter legal guidance and strategic compliance advisories for various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising internal stakeholders on IP rights protection strategies and risk assessment involving trademarks, copyrights, designs, trade secrets, and patents.
  • Coordinating IP portfolio filings, prosecution, registrations, and enforcement in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external counsels.
  • Collaborating with engineering, product, commercial, and marketing teams on IP risk management, patent strategy, and open-source software use and compliance.
  • Supporting IT, cybersecurity, data governance, data sharing, and Enterprise Risk Management initiatives, including data privacy, data security, and related compliance and licensing issues.
  • Implementing and reviewing privacy policies across the organization in collaboration with stakeholders on risk mitigation and remediation.
  • Supporting M&A, strategic, and corporate development activities by conducting IP due diligence and supporting the drafting of disclosures, warranties, and agreements.
  • Monitoring and advising on legal developments related to emerging technologies, such as AI-GenAI, Agentic AI, Blockchain, Encryption, etc.
  • Negotiating and reviewing a wide range of technology agreements, including software licenses, AI-GenAI development and deployment agreements, cloud services agreements, and software licensing.
