Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Specialist to join our team. As an IBM Sterling OMS Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for the implementation, customization, development, and support of IBM Sterling solutions for our clients.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment and optimization of IBM Sterling OMS Systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation and customization of IBM Sterling OMS and Java-based solutions for clients, ensuring adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into system configurations and customizations.
  • Configure and customize IBM Sterling OMS and Java-based custom applications software to meet specific client needs, including menu layouts, pricing, promotions, and integrations with other systems.
  • Conduct system testing and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and functionality of IBM Sterling OMS solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IBM Sterling OMS software, providing timely and effective support to clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure seamless integration of IBM Sterling with other systems and processes.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on IBM Sterling functionality, ensuring smooth adoption and utilization of the system.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in point of sale technology, providing recommendations for system enhancements and improvements.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation related to IBM Sterling and custom Java app configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring successful implementation and client satisfaction.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
