Market Development Representative Role

We are seeking an experienced Market Development Representative to drive business growth and expand our customer base.

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers and opportunities, utilizing public and private data sources to gather valuable insights.
  • Qualify and prioritize leads based on their potential value, enabling targeted marketing campaigns to maximize effectiveness.
  • Monitor industry trends and news sources to stay informed and augment account, lead, and opportunity data with relevant information.
  • Develop tailored strategies to engage prospects through email, social media, and other channels, enhancing engagement rates and driving conversions.
  • Follow up on marketing campaigns to maintain account intelligence briefs for Sales and Account Managers, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Leverage team members to develop targeted lists, call and email strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities and prospecting activities.
  • Collaborate with partners to enrich, cleanse, and triage account data, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand priorities and requirements, aligning market development efforts with business objectives.
  • Document activities in Salesforce and report results regularly, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2-6 years of experience in Market Development, Business Development, or similar roles.
  • The ability to effectively research, qualify, and react to leads and business opportunities.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduation education.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, Marketo, or similar applications.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • A professional manner capable of managing time and prioritizing tasks effectively with autonomy.
  • Proven experience working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced international start-up environment.
