Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Configuration Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing our client's asset lifecycle and configuration management practices across global operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Asset Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of Configuration Item (CI) engagements, ensuring alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and service improvement initiatives.
  • CMDB Data Integrity: Configure robust Identification and Reconciliation rules to ensure reliable CI data integrity.
  • CMDB Health Monitoring: Proactively resolve data conflicts between authoritative sources and monitor CMDB health.
  • Standardization and Documentation: Define and maintain standard CIs, CI relationships, and classification schemas in line with business needs.
  • Process Development: Develop and maintain process documentation, policies, and compliance frameworks for Configuration Management.
  • Application Mapping: Create and enhance application maps using ServiceNow Service Mapping.
  • MID Server Configuration: Configure MID Servers for integrations and data synchronization.
  • ServiceNow Customization: Customize ServiceNow environments, including scripting, automation, and module configuration.
  • Reporting and Dashboards: Design and manage reports and dashboards to support decision-making and transparency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for continuous service improvement.
  • Audit and Verification: Define, improve, and manage periodic audit and verification processes for asset data.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Configuration Management.
  • Skills: Strong expertise in ServiceNow Configuration Management and IT Asset Management modules.
  • Qualifications: Proven ability to drive operational excellence in IT asset and configuration management.
  • Candidates: Must have a deep understanding of CMDB architecture, CI types, and dependency mapping.
  • Educational Background: Excellent documentation and process design skills.
