Key Backend Developer Role

We are seeking a skilled developer to fill a key role in our software development team. As a core member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and developing back-end systems that support our operations platform.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable software architecture.
  • Take ownership of the product lifecycle from conceptualization through development and deployment.
  • Implement Test-Driven Development practices, including writing unit tests, to ensure high-quality code.
  • Build reusable, modular code and libraries to promote efficiency and consistency across projects.
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance, speed, and scalability.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong programming foundation in Python, including debugging and performance analysis.
  • Experience in developing web applications and APIs (REST) and good knowledge of frameworks like Django or Flask.
  • Considerable expertise of secure software development best practices and handling sensitive data.
  • Well-established experience in all phases of development – requirement gathering, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • In-depth knowledge of Source Code Repository and experience working with Git.
  • Hands-on experience in DB design & Architecture with focus on performance.
  • Knowledge of caching techniques and utilities like Memcache / Redis.
  • Experience working on Apache, Nginx, or any other web/app server.
  • Experience in containerization tool -Docker.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in Angular, Node JS will be beneficial.
  • Experience in HTML5, CSS3, JS, Bootstrap, Ajax will be an added advantage.
