Senior Backend Developer Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to lead our team's backend application development efforts. As a key member of our tech team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems using Python.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop robust backend applications using Python and related frameworks.
  • Design and build high-performance RESTful APIs with FastAPI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects.
  • Work with various databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and ClickHouse to ensure seamless data integration.
  • Build and optimize Big Data pipelines for high-performance applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Optimize performance and troubleshoot application issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers if needed, and contribute to architectural discussions.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose technical improvements to enhance the overall quality of our solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Python development with a strong focus on backend development.
  • Proficiency in FastAPI framework and strong experience with RESTful API development.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles and hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM tools.
  • Familiarity with Big Data concepts, pipelines, and optimization techniques, as well as experience with ClickHouse for analytics and large-scale data processing.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized applications, along with basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills, coupled with effective communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
