Backend Engineer

This role is an integral part of our R&D team, focusing on developing new features and capabilities for our microservices backend.

  • Plan, design, and implement novel solutions to enhance our platform's performance and scalability.
  • Maintain and improve existing infrastructure, tools, and workflows to ensure seamless operations.
  • Guarantee quality software delivery through rigorous automated testing, E2E testing, and performance assessment.
  • Explore innovative approaches to optimize platform efficiency and recommend enhancements accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in computer science or software engineering from a reputable institution.
  • Possess at least 8 years of experience as a Software/Backend Engineer with expertise in Python programming language.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases, leveraging data modeling techniques for scalability and performance.
  • Exhibit proficiency in cloud technologies, preferably AWS, and experience in microservices architecture, including REST APIs and message queues.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in CI/CD environments (e.g., GHA, Jenkins).
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code development (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Language proficiency: Fluency in written and verbal English communication.
