Job Title:

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Automation Engineer to lead our test automation efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and related tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and related tools/frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather detailed test requirements and fully understand application functionality.
  • Execute automated test suites, analyze results, identify defects and recommend improvements.
  • Enhance and optimize test automation frameworks, tools and processes for scalability and efficiency.
  • Work with DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for seamless delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in test automation processes, tools and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree / BE/B.Tech or equivalent in a technical field.
  • Strong knowledge of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Proven experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python or C#.
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, BDD and Cucumber.
  • Understanding of API testing and tools like Postman.
  • Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
  • Experience with mobile automation tools, preferably Appium, for Android and iOS platforms.
  • Good working knowledge of Agile development processes.
  • Familiarity with defect management tools like JIRA.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
