We're seeking a talented Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.

Job Overview

In this role, you'll design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, identify test scenarios, and develop automation scripts.

  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand project requirements and identify suitable automation test scenarios.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
  • Execute automated test scripts to validate application functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Identify and report defects using bug tracking tools, providing detailed information and steps to reproduce.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure changes or updates don't introduce new issues.
  • Work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing clear and concise test results and defect information.
  • Continuously enhance and optimize automated test suites to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Participate in test plan and test case reviews, offering feedback and suggestions for improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed as an Automation Tester, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as an Automation Tester or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in automation testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or Cucumber.
  • Experience designing and developing automation test scripts using programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and their implementation.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills to convey test results and issues to development teams.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage time/priorities efficiently.
