Data Protection Specialist

Role Overview:
The organization is seeking a highly skilled professional to support the IT Security and Data Protection program by monitoring, analyzing, reviewing, reporting, and readiness of IT Security controls and data protection compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing security and data protection measures in the organization
- Maintaining awareness of industry security policies and regulations pertaining to information security and data privacy
- Executing corrective actions for data security incidents and breaches
- Communicating security issues to internal stakeholders, including technical teams and executives
- Fostering relationships with key stakeholders and business partners regionally and globally
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience in IT security and data protection
- Sound knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud, and application development lifecycle and testing
- Knowledge of conducting IT risk assessments and self-learning capabilities
- Reporting, documentation, coordination, and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified or knowledge of ISO 27001 2013 and data privacy regulation
- Strong communication and presentation skills
