Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in cloud engineering and presales, specifically in the Cloud & Virtualization domain.

  • The ideal candidate will design and propose cloud architecture using open-source cloud orchestrators like CloudStack, virtualization, and automation technology in complex multi-tenant environments.
  • They will engage with customers and prospects to demonstrate our solutions and effectively communicate key differentiators.
  • Responsibilities include assisting customers with initial product evaluations and testing, setting the stage for successful implementation.
  • The right person will connect technical requirements to business needs, ensuring project success.
  • Additionally, they will respond to RFIs or RFPs, communicating product differentiators.
  • They must prepare and deliver differentiated solution presentations or technical proposals.
  • Also, the role involves managing and/or delivering technical validation activities, including proof-of-concepts.
  • Relationship-building and working with partners to find and realize opportunities is crucial.

Requirements:

To be successful in this position, you should have:

  • Experience implementing cloud solutions in enterprise environments.
  • A thorough understanding of cloud technologies and concepts, working knowledge of leading private cloud platforms like VCloud, OpenStack, and CloudStack.
  • An understanding of virtualization concepts from leading hypervisors (ESXi/KVM).
  • Container technology expertise, especially Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web server, and database security.
  • Familiarity with other enterprise products and solutions, such as storage, security, and compute.
  • Excellent written communication skills, experience preparing technical proposals, RFP responses, and BoQs.
  • Highly effective presentation skills and composure when interacting with technical and business customers or prospects.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced international environment.
  • Proven experience managing proof-of-concept activities for customers in the cloud domain.

  • A relevant bachelor's degree.
