Job Title: Cloud Data Engineer

The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive knowledge of data engineering principles and experience in developing scalable data pipelines.

  • Develop complex algorithms that provide unique insights into our data, working closely with the data science team.
  • Implement agile software development processes to make iterative improvements to back-end systems.
  • Model front-end and back-end data sources to draw a comprehensive picture of user flows throughout the system and enable powerful data analysis.
  • Design and build data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate data from disparate sources.
  • Develop predictive models that answer business questions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization/exploration tools.
  • Familiarity with Bigdata & Google Cloud platforms.
  • Proven work experience with Google Cloud Bigdata toolset, including BigQuery, Airflow, and CI/CD.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard visualization and analytics tools, such as Tableau and R.
  • Proficiency in Core Java, Linux, SQL, and scripting languages.
  • Experience with Python, Spark, and Hive.
  • Effective communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical leaders.
  • Aptitude for working on dynamic research-oriented teams with concurrent projects.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Experience in building or maintaining ETL processes.
  • Professional certification.
