Key Responsibilities:

  • System Design & Development: Implementing backend services in Rust, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Integration & APIs: Building and enhancing APIs and data pipelines for seamless interoperability and high-quality data flows throughout our platform.
  • Security & Reliability: Applying best practices for secure coding, conducting code reviews, and implementing testing strategies to prevent vulnerabilities and maintain system integrity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with product managers, data scientists, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously profiling, benchmarking, and refining code to reduce latency and enhance user experience.

Required Expertise:

  • Rust Programming: Strong proficiency in Rust programming and its ecosystem, including crates, testing frameworks, and tooling.
  • Backend & Distributed Systems: Understanding of distributed systems architecture, microservices, and event-driven patterns.
  • Performance & Concurrency: Proven experience profiling applications, optimizing performance-critical code paths, and handling concurrency safely and efficiently.
  • Version Control & CI/CD: Comfortable with Git-based workflows, continuous integration, and automated testing pipelines.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of software development experience, with at least 1–2 years of hands-on experience coding in Rust.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
