Healthcare Product Owner Role Overview

Our organization is seeking an experienced and skilled Healthcare Product Owner to lead the development of our software products in the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience working with healthcare regulations, and excellent collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop clear and detailed user stories and define acceptance criteria for successful implementation.
  • Drive end-to-end integration with LIS, EMR, and EHR systems, ensuring interoperability through standards like HL7, FHIR, and DICOM.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations, including HIPAA and GDPR.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering (Computer Science/IT) with 8+ years of experience in building healthcare-related software products.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in the healthcare domain, especially around SaMD - Software as-a Medical Device, and with LIS, EMR, and EHR integrations.
  • Good technical expertise, with familiarity in APIs, data security, and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM).
  • SAFe Product Owners/Product Manager Certification, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar agile certification.
  • Excellent skills in writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs.
