Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to oversee our infrastructure and application support. The ideal candidate will possess strong working knowledge in Linux or Windows environments, with experience handling applications.

  • Strong expertise in two scripting languages (Shell/Power Shell/Python/Perl/Groovy) is mandatory.
  • Excellent grasp of PL/SQL and solid understanding of Oracle database administration fundamentals is required.
  • Good knowledge on any WebServer (preferably IBM WAS, Apache) installation, configurations and deployments.
  • Familiarity with one deployment tool (Ansible preferred) and monitoring tool (Splunk preferred).
  • Proficiency in Binary Management tools Artifactory / Nexus, Code quality coverage tools SonarQube is desirable.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Responsibilities include managing IT Infrastructure administration activities, server administration, rollouts, maintenance & application deployment.
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
  • Continuously monitoring and implementing service improvement initiatives for value realization.
  • Collaborating with different service teams (internal & external) to ensure service availability as agreed with customers.
  • Providing technical solutions and alternatives, mentoring and supporting teams, handling team requirements for service delivery and customer engagements.
  • Defining, implementing and optimizing monitoring solutions for applications and underlying infrastructure.
