Observability Engineer Role

At our organization, we are pioneering the transformation of IT estates through observability and AIOps. This role requires a skilled engineer to build and operate cutting-edge observability platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for observability and AIOps within complex IT environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop unified strategies for observability and AIOps using leading AI technology
  • Implement enterprise-level observability/AIOps technologies and processes
  • Accelerate adoption of observability/AIOps across technology and business organizations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in architecting complex IT solutions
  • Understanding of key observability dimensions (metrics, logs, traces)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Development experience in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Ruby)
  • Experience working in collaborative coding environments (peer review, continuous integration)
  • Minimum 7 years of application development experience
  • Experience working in distributed remote teams across multiple time zones
  • Hands-on operational experience in high-volume or critical production service environments - distributed systems, capacity planning, continuous deployment
  • BA/BS in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent experience (advanced degrees preferred)
