Sales and Business Development Manager

The Sales Executive for Generator Spare Parts is responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining customer relationships, and managing accounts within the generator spare parts market. The ideal candidate will have experience in the power generation or automotive sectors, strong sales acumen, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and target potential customers in the generator spare parts market.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Present and demonstrate products to customers, highlighting key features and benefits.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with customers to close sales.
- Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences.
- Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and expand customer base.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Product Knowledge and Training:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of generator spare parts products.
- Stay updated on industry developments, new products, and technological advancements.
- Provide product training and support to customers as needed.
- Sales Administration:
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and customer feedback to management.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and contracts.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics and customer service, to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
- Attending Industry Events:
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Network with industry professionals and potential customers to generate leads and build brand awareness.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the generator, automotive, or power generation industries.
- Strong understanding of generator spare parts and battery products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
- Based in an office or showroom environment, with frequent travel to customer locations and industry events.
- Standard working hours, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet sales targets.
- Physical demands include traveling to meet clients, standing for long periods during product demonstrations, and occasionally lifting and handling product samples.
