About this role

We are seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.

Job description

  • Manage the internal control environment, assessing mandatory controls on an annual basis and using a risk-based approach.
  • Update Control Implementation Guidelines, including Control Self-Assessment questionnaires, as needed, and confirm local control owners for the controls included in the Control Framework.
  • Communicate to local control owners about Control Self-Assessment campaign kick-off and train them on the latest Source to Pay controls.
  • Work in close collaboration with the Global Process Lead on actions resulting from controls testing and adjustment of existing controls.
  • Review parallel with local control owners all the results, findings, and action plans, and request, if needed, the support of the IC team.
  • Document answers, findings, and action plans in the web-based solution INTERACT.
  • Communicate CSA results to functions LT and business stakeholders.
  • Support local stakeholders in the design implementation of their global policies and procedures, core model, global projects, and end-to-end process improvements for their scope.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks by design, ensuring that actual processes and controls are adequately described in local procedures and standardized between countries.
  • Be a key point of contact for the engagement with internal or external auditors, in addition to Internal Control COE.
  • Be a content expert and go-to person in Source to Pay Internal Controls, Control Guidelines, SOX risk, and Sanofi Operating Model.

Requirements

  • Source to Pay experience and knowledge in external and internal audit and other internal control-related functions.
  • Able to work effectively with cross-functional partners and drive process improvement initiatives across an organization.
  • Excellent communication skills to build commitment, create adherence (change management), and report to management (business partnering).
  • Inter-cultural skills and eagerness to work in a very international setting.
  • Languages: Fluent in English.
