DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Job Overview:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure pipelines across development, testing, and production environments. You will drive automation of infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools, manage and optimize CI/CD processes, and ensure smooth containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement cloud infrastructure pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.Develop and maintain IaC scripts for infrastructure provisioning.Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to align DevOps practices with business goals.Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem activities for critical production issues.Mentor and guide a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform and its core services.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
  • Solid knowledge of containerization and orchestration – Docker, Kubernetes (AKS preferred). Experience in implementing monitoring and logging frameworks – Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
  • Familiarity with source control systems like Git and platforms like GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure Repos.
  • Understanding of networking, security, and firewall configurations within cloud environments. Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in a collaborative DevOps culture. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage risk and identify critical dependencies. Problem-solving attitude with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Certifications in cloud technologies are an added advantage.
