We are seeking a seasoned API Management Professional to spearhead the development and implementation of scalable API management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement integration architectures that meet business requirements
  • Develop and maintain APIs using IBM API Connect (APIC) and other relevant tools
  • Implement security measures such as OAuth, JWT, and MTLS to ensure API security
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define processes and methodologies for product adoption

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of experience in integration implementation and architecture
  • Strong hands-on experience with API management tools, preferably IBM API Connect (APIC)
  • Sound knowledge on the REST API, API lifecycle management, security, and API gateway patterns
  • Proven experience with API governance, developer portal configuration, and subscription models
  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines and automation for API deployment
  • Proficiency in API-led architecture and experience with API Management tools
  • Familiarity with Observability concepts, Open Telemetry, and Splunk
  • Familiarity with Backstage, Git Hubs, and Azure DevOps
  • Experience working in Agile environments, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies
