Key Payment System Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Key Payment System specialist to lead the development and configuration of transaction processing systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payment system architecture, particularly in Base24 EPS (Electronic Payment Server), and a proven track record in developing and supporting high-performance payment processing applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and configure Base24 EPS applications to support transaction processing and payment systems.
  • Design, develop, and integrate ATM, POS, and payment switch systems to enhance business efficiency.
  • Perform enhancements, customizations, and defect fixes in EPS modules to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Support production environments, including troubleshooting and incident resolution to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards for security, scalability, and high availability to protect customer data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, infrastructure, and business analysts to achieve project goals.
  • Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to junior developers to facilitate knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Base24 EPS development and support.
  • Strong experience with Tandem/HP NonStop programming languages (TACL, TAL, COBOL, C, SCOBOL, Pathway, Enscribe, SQL/MP).
  • Knowledge of payment transaction processing (ATM, POS, ISO8583, EMV) and exposure to interfaces with major payment networks.
  • Hands-on experience with XPNET, ACI tools, and BASE24-EPS modules to optimize performance.
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) to manage change effectively.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.
