Revenue Accounting Specialist

As a Revenue Accounting Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our company's financial transactions. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical skills to manage revenue recognition, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage revenue recognition and accounting processes in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Prepare and submit accurate general ledger entries with supporting documentation.
  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and accruals.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support audit processes by preparing required schedules and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper recording of financial transactions.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to support reporting and decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years proven working experience in accounting domain.
  • Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping.
  • Strong technology skills, with expertise in Microsoft Excel.
  • Working experience in Sage Intacct is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work in UK/US time zone.
  • Prior experience working on third-party client set-ups.
  • Experience managing project work with tight deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment.
