Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to support critically important environments across multiple RDBMS technologies.

The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive, end-to-end support for database layers on various services, participate in international projects, and have the opportunity to influence our future technology choices.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive, end-to-end support for a variety of database services on different technologies.
  • Advise on and execute the day-to-day work activities for control services and audits to ensure accurate and effective control of database operations.
  • Monitor and manage system performance, performing diagnostics and tuning to optimize database efficiency.
  • Participate in international projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate information, policies, and procedures for control evidences and database operations.
  • Contribute to the identification and resolution of complex technical and operational problems.
  • Be a key player in defining and implementing process improvements, including automation and optimization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience supporting mission-critical environments on at least two of the following RDBMS technologies: Oracle (12c, 18c, 19c), MSSQL (2014-2019), PostgreSQL/EDB, MySQL.
  • Expertise in RAC, Data Guard (ODG), RMAN, Exadata, performance, and tuning.
  • Experience with databases in both on-premises and cloud environments, including AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
  • Proficiency in at least three of the following languages: SQL, PL/SQL, psql, TSQL, mSQL, shell scripting, perl, powershell, Python.
  • Solid working knowledge of Linux/Unix and various Cloud Operating Systems.
