About the Role

Our team is seeking a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing production databases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with multiple database systems, including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and DynamoDB. Knowledge of cloud computing environments and operating systems such as Linux, AIX, and Windows is also essential.

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring daily backups in RDS and Oracle environments, restarting jobs or initiating backups as needed, and performing user administration tasks. Additionally, you will work on database-related issues and script executions, ensuring seamless integration with our Grafana Dashboards.

Your duties will also include maintaining knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, Oracle Dataguard, PowerBi, and Snowflake to stay ahead of industry trends. While not required, proficiency in these areas is a significant plus point.

We are looking for an individual who can prioritize requests for DB copy-downs, verify the synchronization between Oracle Data Guard standby and primary databases, and perform other related tasks as necessary.
