Job Overview:

A construction project manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and executing various construction projects on-site, collaborating closely with project teams, subcontractors, and site workers to ensure efficient project progression, adherence to quality and safety standards, and meeting project goals and timelines.

  • Project Execution: Direct and manage day-to-day construction activities, aligning them with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Quality Control: Monitor work on-site to ensure it meets quality and safety standards, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols and practices to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel on the construction site.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to allocate resources effectively.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance, resolve engineering issues, and make decisions related to construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Site Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including daily progress reports, site diaries, and change orders.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve unexpected issues that may arise during construction, offering practical solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Client Communication: Keep clients informed about project progress, address their concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to verify work quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BTech/ BE)
  • 0-4 years of experience
  • Proficiency in construction management
  • Knowledge of construction industry regulations and best practices
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
