Job Title: Experienced Web Developer

This is a senior-level AEM developer position that requires a strong understanding of web development principles, as well as expertise in AEM-specific technologies.

AEM developers work on creating and managing digital experiences for customers. This includes designing and developing custom components, templates, workflows, and services using AEM's Content Management System (CMS).

The ideal candidate will have experience with Java/J2EE, OSGi, Apache Sling, and HTL (Sightly). Additionally, proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as React or Angular would be beneficial.

Experience with Dispatcher configuration, DevOps CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Jenkins, Git), and cloud platforms like GCP/AWS is also desirable. AEM certification (Developer / Architect) is preferred but not required.

The successful candidate will collaborate with designers, authors, and QA teams to ensure quality deliverables. They will also optimize performance, ensure security, and follow best coding practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop custom AEM components, templates, workflows, and services
  • Implement and configure AEM Sites, Assets, and Dispatcher caching
  • Integrate AEM with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs
  • Work on AEMaaCS or AEM 6.5 environments
  • Collaborate with designers, authors, and QA to ensure quality deliverables
  • Optimize performance, ensure security, and follow best coding practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in AEM development (Sites & Assets)
  • Proficiency in Java/J2EE, OSGi, Apache Sling, HTL (Sightly)
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks
  • Experience with Dispatcher configuration
  • Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Jenkins, Git)
  • Cloud exposure is a plus
  • AEM Certification (Developer / Architect) preferred
