Job Title:

A Quality Assurance Specialist is required to ensure the quality of materials and components used in Distribution and Power Transformers.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish, manage, and implement a Supplier Quality Management system to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Study technical, customer, and statutory requirements against materials and prepare procedures and inspection check sheets.
  • Maintain lists of approved suppliers and perform on-site assessments to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Develop and assess alternative products/suppliers in coordination with Procurement.
  • Review supplier performance data and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Requirements:Required Skills:
  • Sound knowledge of national and international standards (IS, IEC, IEEE, ASTM) applicable to materials and components used in Distribution and Power transformers.
  • Experience with 100+ on-site supplier assessment audits.
  • Knowledge of relevant tests applicable to materials and components used in Distribution and Power transformers.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and travel 80-100 days per year.
  • SQM certification is preferred.
