About the Role

As an Associate Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the development of a cloud infrastructure environment leveraging AWS technologies. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our cloud services to ensure their security, scalability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoots and resolves AWS service issues across development, testing, and production environments
  • Manages AWS services, working with internal teams as required to ensure system availability meets project requirements
  • Designing, building, and deploying cloud solutions using various cloud services and platforms (AWS)
  • Providing guidance and technical expertise on cloud adoption, migration, and optimization
  • Develop scripts to automate systems administration and monitoring activities
  • Provide technical support on AWS-related issues, monitor solutions, and implement appropriate strategies to eliminate performance bottlenecks
  • Works with Infrastructure and Product teams on issues related to AWS design and architecture and assists with Proof-of-Concept development and testing
  • Works with peers within and beyond the Operations team to define and characterize complex technology or process problems and develop & implement new solutions
  • As needed, assist with the development of technical documents and other content
  • Keeping up to date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field

Certifications and Experience:

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, AWS SysOps Administrator Certification, Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or equivalent AWS Cloud Engineering/Architecture experience
  • 3+ years of AWS administration experience, including API Gateway, S3, ECS, EKS, Fargate, EC2, Lambda, WAF, and CloudTrail
  • 3+ years deploying Infrastructure as Code using tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform
  • 3+ years of experience are necessary, including designing and implementing AWS solutions
  • Experience on cloud architecture patterns, design principles, and best practices
  • Working experience (intermediate) of networking concepts (routing, switching, firewalls, etc.)
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in driving technical problems to resolution
  • Excellent troubleshooting and root cause-analysis skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Windows and Linux server technologies
  • Experience working with third party service providers such as vendors and internal support groups
  • Ability to plan and implement change for enterprise systems and adhere to standard change management processes
Preferred Qualifications

Strong Working Knowledge of Local and Wide Area Networking Technologies

Familiarity with Atlassian (Gerrit, Confluence, Artifactory, Jenkins) and Other DevOps Tools
