Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a talented Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the high quality of our products, identifying issues, and improving user experience.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive testing on web applications, including functional, UI, regression, and integration testing.
  • Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test reports to ensure seamless product delivery.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs, collaborating with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Validate features against acceptance criteria before deployment, guaranteeing alignment with business objectives.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups and sprint planning to foster collaboration and productivity.
  • Maintain QA documentation and contribute to process improvements, driving continuous excellence.
Required Skills:
  • Strong foundation in React and TypeScript, with practical experience.
  • Proficiency in REST API testing using Postman or similar tools.
  • Expertise in React Testing Library and Jest for UI and unit testing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with QA methodologies, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and bug lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of test case management/defect tracking tools, such as Jira or Asana.
  • Good communication and documentation abilities, with a focus on clarity and concision.
PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Exposure to Redux Toolkit, React Router, and component libraries like Material UI (MUI).
  • Basic experience with automation testing, such as Selenium or Playwright.
  • Familiarity with Git and Agile/Scrum practices, with a focus on collaboration and iteration.
