QA Engineer AI/ML Projects

Job Description :

- MRI Software looking for an experienced and skilled candidate to join our team as a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer.

- As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible to assess software quality by designing and implementing software testing processes.

- You will take ownership of code quality through exploratory and manual test scripts.

- You will hunt bugs, identify issues, report them, and see that they are dealt with.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design AI-Specific Test Plans Create test strategies focused on model behavior, data integrity, and edge cases.

- Validate Model Outputs Test predictions against expected results using golden datasets and real-world scenarios.

- Test Data Pipelines Ensure correctness of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and pipeline transformations.

- Automate Testing Build and maintain automated tests for APIs, data flows etc Monitor Model Quality Track AI metrics like accuracy, precision, recall, and identify model drift or performance degradation.

- Perform Exploratory & Adversarial Testing, Integrate with CI/CD Pipelines Collaborate Across Teams Work closely with ML engineers, data scientists, and product owners to align QA efforts with goals.

- Continuously Learn & Adapt Stay updated on AI/ML trends and evolve testing approaches to match experimental technologies.

Preferred Skills & Traits :

- 4-6 years of software testing knowledge.

- Experience with API testing is a must and knowledge of SQL is needed.

- Familiarity with ML/AI fundamentals (classification, regression, NLP, etc.

- Strong problem-solving and curiosity mindset loves breaking things to find weaknesses.

- Comfortable reading Python code and interpreting ML pipeline stages is desirable.

- Experience with RESTful API testing, automation frameworks, and basic SQL.

- Experience with agile development practices preferred (Ability to learn quickly and adapt test approaches in ambiguous, experimental environments).

Education :

- Bachelors/masters degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a related area.
