Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for planning and executing all factory-based testing activities for power transformers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine, type, and special tests within the plant to ensure adherence to industry and client specifications.
  • Coordinate customer inspections at the factory and ensure timely approval of test reports.
  • Investigate failures or deviations observed during in-process / final testing and communicate findings for corrective action.
  • Ensure calibration and maintenance of all plant testing equipment.
  • Implement safety protocols for all testing operations within the factory.
  • Provide feedback to Production teams on any manufacturing defects identified during factory testing.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and other relevant quality & safety guidelines in testing.
  • Maintain accurate testing records and update modifications to procedures in SAP / plant systems.
  • Drive closure of all non-conformance issues raised during factory testing or client inspections.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of testing principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using testing equipment and software.
