Government Tender Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee our Government e-Marketplace (GeM) operations and tender processes. As a leading technology catalyst in India, we specialize in transforming businesses through data center solutions, cybersecurity, professional services, and digital workplace innovations.

About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our GeM portal operations, including product catalog management, pricing updates, and order processing. You will also lead end-to-end tender management for IT government contracts, ensuring compliance with government procurement policies, GeM guidelines, and tender specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee GeM portal operations, including product catalog management, pricing updates, and order processing
  • Lead end-to-end tender management for IT government contracts, including preparation, submission, and follow-up
  • Ensure compliance with government procurement policies, GeM guidelines, and tender specifications
  • Coordinate between internal technical teams and public sector clients to deliver tailored IT solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders and procurement officers
  • Analyze market opportunities in government IT sector and prepare strategic proposals
  • Monitor competitor activities and pricing strategies in government tenders
  • Manage documentation, contracts, and legal compliance for government projects
  • Collaborate with sales, technical, and delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in GeM operations and government tender management
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes and policies
  • Experience with IT sector tenders, particularly in cybersecurity, data centers, or digital infrastructure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and tender management tools
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements for government contracts
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
