Data Governance Specialist">

We are seeking a skilled professional to support the implementation of our enterprise-level data governance strategy. This initiative is focused on centralizing governance activities across structured and unstructured data domains, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and internal ERP systems.

This role will involve working closely with stakeholders across business lines and enabling areas to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for data quality and security.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of best practices for data governance and quality, as well as experience with standardized approaches to capturing and documenting metadata.

Responsibilities will include creating/editing data requirements, data models, data dictionaries, process maps, and data lineage/mapping.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing data management tools like Informatica, Collibra, SAP, and Microsoft 365 to manage metadata and data quality processes.

A key aspect of this role will be communicating with stakeholders to gather and address data requirements and feedback.

The Data Governance Specialist will also be responsible for developing valuation and quality measures and sharing them across business units.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive continuous improvement efforts, monitor results, and conduct benchmarking activities to enhance data governance capabilities.

The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the Project Management Office to integrate governance into project lifecycles, including data migration.
