Job Title: Private Equity Fund Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Private Equity Fund Accountant to join our team at 2coms. As a Private Equity Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing quarterly close work papers for funds, including Private Equity, Real Estate, and Healthcare.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quarterly close work papers for funds, including Private Equity, Real Estate, and Healthcare.
  • Prepare journal entries manually in Excel and post them on Oracle.
  • Understand PCAP statements and prepare trial balance and quarter close journal entries for investments made.
  • Process capital calls and distributions activities.
  • Perform monthly cash reconciliations.
  • Prepare and post accruals and expense journal entries during quarter ends.
  • Report weekly cash activity to fund managers.

Qualifications:

  • MBA Finance with Commerce (Accounting) degree preferred.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in fund accounting process preferred.
  • Must be experienced in Outlook and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior relevant experience at a fund accounting firm preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must be proactive and able to work independently.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in ITGC testing.
  • Strong technical background, including knowledge of IT general controls, application controls, and data integrity.
  • Experience with SOX compliance and auditing standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
