About this role:

We are seeking a skilled Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and developing web applications, maintaining and troubleshooting existing ones, and writing reliable code.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing new or changing existing web applications/APIs
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting web applications and APIs
  • Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby / Rails code
  • Integrating with data storage solutions
  • Creating services using microservices architecture
  • Dockerizing the application/service
  • Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs
  • Integrating user-facing elements designed by the front-end team
  • Connecting applications with other internal or third-party systems

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Over 7 years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails
  • Proficiency in either Sidekiq or Shoryuken, showcasing a deep understanding of background job processing
  • Solid knowledge in React and Typescript, demonstrating the ability to work with modern frontend technologies
  • Familiarity with AWS, with a specific emphasis on SQS (Simple Queue Service)
  • BE/B.Tech or Equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field
