Job Overview

As a seasoned data engineering professional, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their data modernization journey. Our team collaborates closely with development and data teams to leverage expertise and leading-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop cloud-first strategies for core data initiatives
  • Provide expert guidance on process and technical aspects
  • Become a trusted advisor on Data Engineering matters
  • Design, develop, deploy, and support end-to-end data strategy transformation
  • Mentor client teams on the latest approaches, tools, and skills

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent
  • Proven experience in consulting or contracting capacity for large-scale data management and modernization programs
  • Familiarity with SQL Servers, data engineering on platforms like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Synapse
  • Strong knowledge of Delta Lake and Lakehouse Architecture
  • Experience securing Azure environment using RBAC, Key Vault, and Azure Security Center
  • Proficiency in Kafka, Spark, and extensive experience using them in production environments
  • Strong DBA experience in large-scale MS SQL environments deployed in Azure
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to quickly identify issues
  • Knowledge of Scala, Python, Linux administration, networking, and scripting
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using PowerShell, Bash, and ARM templates
  • Understanding of security and governance issues related to cloud-first data architecture and industry solutions
  • Experience with Agile methodology and continuous delivery for development teams
  • Demonstrated leadership and sound business judgment
