Job Title: Interior Designer

Overview

We are seeking a talented and skilled Interior Designer to join our team. As an Interior Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing and functional interior spaces that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the lead designer on various projects
  • Accompany the lead designer during client meetings at job sites and showrooms
  • Take detailed notes during meetings, take measurements/photos of projects
  • Create CAD drawings for client projects
  • Research decor and materials; provide pricing, availability, stock, etc.
  • Place orders, purchase materials, pick up and deliver
  • Submit receipts for all purchases and orders
  • Track and communicate the status of orders; resolve problems
  • Maintain spreadsheets with client selections/finish materials
  • Schedule tasks for designers, contractors, clients, and vendors
  • Respond to client questions and concerns; project updates
  • Meet vendors, assist with installations
  • Submit detailed hours (billable and non-billable) and mileage log monthly
  • Check daily client spreadsheet for new tasks; update status of assigned task end of each day
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in interior design or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
