Embedded Systems Specialist

We seek a seasoned Embedded Systems Engineer to design, develop and test embedded systems for diverse projects.

  • Contribute to the modeling, integration, and testing of various peripherals within a SystemC-based platform modeling framework for application domains such as Automotive and Wireless.
  • Understand IP modeling requirements and create ESL model specifications.
  • Closing technical issues efficiently ensures project milestones are met.
  • Lead junior team members and consultants in SoC platform creation, validation, and software bring-up.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for virtual prototype alignment and integration.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to improve development processes.
  • Develop and integrate support for protocols like TCP/IP, RS-232, and IPC.
  • Work with architects, solution experts, and global engineering teams for timely delivery and integration.
  • Conduct impact analysis, perform defect and security fixes, and ensure quality compliance through thorough testing.
  • Utilize tools such as WinDbg for debugging memory leaks, crash dumps, and low-level system issues.
  • Design and develop embedded systems and firmware for various applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
  • Test and debug embedded systems for functionality and reliability.
  • Optimize existing embedded systems for performance and efficiency.
  • Document design processes and maintain records of system modifications.
Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

- 5-15 years of experience in embedded systems design and development.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.

- Experience with microcontrollers, RTOS, and hardware interface protocols (I2C, SPI, UART).

- Familiarity with software development tools such as IDEs, debuggers, and version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Understanding of digital and analog circuit design principles.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
