Job Title: Legal Manager

The Legal Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's legal matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining a record of cases handled.

  • Attend to real estate proceedings, representing the company and briefing external counsel as needed.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including settlement deeds and contracts, to protect the company's interests.
  • Maintain a record of cases handled, including CRM intimation and updating interim or final orders tracker.
  • Assist team leads in managing the legal department's workload and ensure seamless communication with stakeholders.

This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to provide exceptional support to our legal department.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Vetting written submissions, appeals, and other legal documents under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act.
  2. Reviewing customer documentation and sharing it with drafting counsel for replies and appeals.
  3. Assisting team leads in case management and ensuring timely updates on case status.
  4. Proficiently using MS Excel for data analysis and record-keeping.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar capacity and a solid understanding of real estate law and regulations.

Able to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in real estate law.
