Finance Transformation Consultant

  • This is a key role for an experienced SAP FICO professional looking to drive financial transformation in manufacturing enterprises.
  • The ideal candidate will have robust knowledge of SAP FI modules, including General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Asset Accounting.
  • They will also possess expertise in configuring SAP FI system settings such as chart of accounts, fiscal year variants, and posting periods.
  • Additionally, the successful candidate will have mastery of financial transaction processing, including journal entries and payment processing.
  • Proficiency with SAP transaction codes related to FI is essential, as well as experience with integration of SAP FI with other modules like MM, SD, and CO.
  • Knowledge of SAP FI reporting and analytics is also required, including generating financial statements and audit reports.
  • The ability to troubleshoot and resolve SAP FI system issues and errors is critical to this role.
  • Understanding of SAP financial closing processes, including month-end and year-end closing activities, is also necessary.
  • Familiarity with SAP data migration tools like LSMW, BAPIs, and IDOCs used in FI data transfers is desired.
  • Regulatory and compliance requirements, such as IFRS and GAAP, must also be understood by the ideal candidate.
  • Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance features is also required.
  • Expertise in production costing, material ledger, product costing, and internal orders in manufacturing is highly valued.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with business users and technical teams.
  • Problem-solving capability to quickly diagnose and fix FI functional issues is also critical.
  • Ability to document functional specs, configuration details, and user manuals is necessary.
  • Team collaboration and leadership for project coordination and mentoring is also required.
